Blender Creations - Bambu Labs X1 Carbon

This week’s Blender challenge was a fun one, and pretty personal too. I’ve been diving deeper into 3D printing lately, with the goal of launching some products on my Etsy store soon. So, I thought it’d be the perfect time to take on a modeling project using a tool that’s already playing a big role in my workflow, the Bambu Labs X1 Carbon 3D printer.

I used the printer itself as a reference for the entire process, modeling and texturing everything directly in Blender. It was a great exercise in working from real-world geometry and trying to capture those little design details that make the X1 Carbon so sleek.

Once the model was complete, I brought it into Unreal Engine 5 to test out some lighting setups and get a feel for how it might look in a product showcase scene.

This project was a nice blend (no pun intended) of practical and creative work.

I’ll post more updates soon as I start prepping prints themselves for the store!

Cheers
